Barack Obama will make history as the first black
president of the United States.Barack Obama place in history is secure, if for
no other reason. However, it does not stop there. Barack Obama was elected
President in 2008. Though Barack Obama popularity has dropped significantly since
his election, due to many factors, there are still many people who
support Obama in 2012.
Unique story of President Obama - While
all presidents of the United States has a somewhat different history of
the middle American history, President Barack Obama stands, even within this
group. Born in Hawaii, he was born to two students at the University of
Hawaii. His mother was American, and his father, a Kenyan student
Nyanza, who was studying in the United States. The 1960s was a difficult
period for interracial marriages, and tremendous pressure in front of
the young Obama. This, among other things led to the couple's divorce
when young Barack was only 2 years old.
His mother then met and
fell in love with an Indonesian man studying for his master, Lolo
Soetoro. They soon married and the family, so they moved to Jakarta,
Indonesia. When moving, Barack Obama was 6. Once there, they had a daughter,
half-sister of Barack Maya. While in Indonesia, Barack Obama attended a
private Catholic school, SD Assisi. Later, Barack Obama attended another excellent
primary school, SD Besuki Menteng. After 4 years in Indonesia, Barack
returned to Hawaii and lived with his maternal grandmother.
After
returning to Hawaii, often played basketball, a sport in which Barack
Obama excelled, and loves to play to this day. By most accounts, it's
still
pretty good. Even on the varsity team played well regarded school, even
if it does not start. In high school, he worked in an ice cream shop
Baskin-Robins.
After graduating from high school, he moved to
Los Angeles, California, where Barack Obama attended Occidental College for two
years. Barack Obama got good grades, and after his second year, he transferred to
Columbia University in New York. In this prestigious Ivy League, which
once again highlighted, and earned a degree in political science.
Early political career of Barack Obama Barack
has reached the pinnacle of American politics, being elected president
of the United States in 2008. Yet it began much more modestly, back in
his adopted hometown of Chicago. Barack Obama won his Illinois Senate seat in
1996, after he managed to get all his opponents disqualified. As Barack Obama was
the only candidate on the ballot, won easily.
In 1999, Obama
began his fight for the seat of the U.S. Congress Rep. Bobby Rush. He
lost the contest in 2000, but he is determined to continue his quest for
a federal office. To this end, Obama set his sights on the United
States Senate.in 2003 in preparation for the 2004 elections.
Again,
Barack Obama was able to receive significant support from the press and the
missteps of his opponents. His main rival for the Democratic primary was
ousted because of a sexual that the Obama campaign was more than happy
to assist the media in reporting scandal. Again, the future president
used what some considered "dirty tactics" to help secure an
appointment.
But this was only the beginning. Later in the
season, after winning the Democratic primary, which again received
substantial assistance for the scandal of the opponent, his campaign was
the beneficiary. This time it is his Republican opponent in the 2004
Senate campaign, which fell by the wayside, in fact, withdraw from the
election, and paving the way for an Obama victory unanimously. Now he
was a U.S. senator.
If anyone thinks that receiving such easy
in Barack Obama run for presidential victory would be a mistake. Although he had
no experience of very limited government, and no leadership experience
in the private sector, Obama leaves not intimidated in the pursuit of
the presidential nomination of the Democratic Party in 2008.
